Lovely Lavender is a beautifully fragranced essential oil hand-poured 100% soy wax candle. Lovely Lavender is my lupus awareness candle which is very special to me as I am a lupus patient. Lupus is an autoimmune disease that affects mostly women (~90% of patients) and can be devastating and cause disability as it did to me and my Nursing career. More research is needed to find a cure, but great strides have been made. I've created this candle with lupus in mind. It is all-natural and all goodness. It is gentle enough to burn around individuals with lung ailments and those susceptible to having migraines from fragrance. The dye is mica powder sourced naturally. My candles burn cleanly. Black smoke that is often the byproduct of mass-produced store candles won't be cast off by my candles. Your walls and furniture won't be affected with soot and a black mess.
My daughter designs my signature line candle labels called, Butterfly Buddies. The lupus awareness symbols are a purple ribbon and a purple butterfly. She tries to incorporate these in the labels to keep the struggles of patients in mind. Lovely Lavender shows the signature butterfly rash lupus patients suffer from.
