This is an antique English Brownhills Pottery covered casserole/vegetable dish from the 1800's. Beautiful and well taken care of, it has a delicate hand painted floral pattern. It has a delicate feminine design with gold detailing and scrollwork. The backstamp markings are "BPCO/FO" and a red "M" on the underside of the lid. Lovely flowers painted on the underside of the lid. No crazing, cracks or chips. Perfect dish for entertaining. There is a rubbing disturbance along a small portion of the rim not seen when lid is on. I'm happy to provide you with more pictures on request. Thank you for your interest.
